Cheryl Cole is to fly to France to meet her estranged husband Ashley Cole.

The 'Fight for This Love' singer has given in to her soccer star spouse's pleas and agreed to jet over to France - where the 29-year-old sportsman is receiving treatment for a broken ankle - to discuss hisalleged affairs and the future of their marriage.

A source said: "Cheryl wants to be tough with Ashley and believes that will be easier on neutral territory."

The 26-year-old pop star dumped Ashley two weeks ago, after it was claimed he had slept with several other women and sentthem X-rated text messages and explicit photographs of himself. Cheryl has now agreed to meet with him for just 15 minutes to hear his explanation.

The source added: "She'll listen - but not for very long."

Since Cheryl left him, Ashley has bombarded her with texts and phone calls in a bid to win her back.

He is now even using lines from her songs in an attempt to win her over.

Apparently, one text said: "We've got to fight for this love."

Despite his emotional pleas, Cheryl is determined to stay strong.

Another source said: "She didn't know whether to laugh or cry. He doesn't stand a chance."

Cheryl is now focusing on her career to help her through this difficult time.

A friend of the singer's said: "She is busier than ever and that's how she wants it. It's hard but she's nothing if not a fighter. She has worked hard to get where she is and will not let anything affect her focus."

X Factor judge Cheryl Cole said she feels “more experienced” on this year’s show.

According to The Sun Ashley begged for a meeting with Cheryl after she arrived back in England yesterday afternoon.

Cheryl has been on holiday with Nicola Roberts and Kimberly Walsh. She needed space to think about whether to give her cheating husband a second chance.

She hasn't worn her wedding ring for the last week.

They met up yesterday in the Royal Kensington Gardens Hotel in West London.

A source told The Sun: "Cole knew this was his last chance, but he still hasn't been forgiven. Just a couple of hours before the Brits they had a showdown and Cheryl was a wreck.

"All the recovering she has done in the last three weeks was blown away by seeing Ashley again."

It is thought Cheryl has told Ashley that their marriage is over.

Only hours later Cheryl appeared on the red carpet with Girls Aloud. She wore a canary yellow mini dress and smiled for the cameras.

An onlooker told The Sun: "Cheryl was putting on a brave face and looked incredible. But she kept going out for cigarettes and pep talks with a male pal and mate Nicola. She was clearly still hurting."

Cheryl Cole made plans to start trying for a baby with her football star husband even after he confessed to his drunken encounter with another woman, she has revealed.

Ashley Cole's night with 22-year-old Aimee Walton hit the headlines last week. The Girls Aloud singer, 24, has told how she had known for six weeks about her husband's illicit night out with a woman who claimed they slept together.

In a revealing interview that took place just days before the story became public, Cheryl said they had set a date to start working on a family.

This was after Cole confessed to his wife, according to reports, that "something happened last night but I was so drunk I don't know what."

She told OK! magazine: "My schedule with Girls Aloud is booked up to the summer and then we're having a break and I want me and Ashley to have some time together, so that we can enjoy each other as a married couple before anything else.

Cheryl Cole is reportedly reconsidering her stand-by-her-man decision after husband Ashley Cole was accused of trying to pay-off his other woman to have an abortion.

Aimee Walton claims she thought she was pregnant after her one night stand with the Chelsea and England star because they’d had unsafe sex.

She told the Sun that she called Ashley to tell him about her fears and he replied: “F****** hell! I’m shaking. I’m sorry. S**t!”

He then arranged for a friend of his to meet Aimee at a London pub and the representative told her: “We would do whatever you want. Obviously he’s not gonna leave his wife, he’s not gonna get involved.”

“If you wanted to terminate the pregnancy and then go on holiday with your [young son], then you know that’s fine. We would take care of that.”

“If you wanna keep the baby then we’ll give you something towards it. [But] I’ll be dead straight with you: the best thing for Ashley is to terminate the baby, right.”

“We’ll get private, done properly. Financially we’ll take of all that.”

“I’ll tell you the facts, all right? Trust me, because I know my people. We’ll only support you financially. And that’s why I think, if you terminate, it would be best. I’m being honest. I’m being very cold and methodical, but that’s my job.”

In the end, it turned out that Aimee wasn’t pregnant but Aimee stands by her decision to expose Ashley publicly, even though the Girls Aloud star has now accused Aimee of lying about the sex taking place: “I regret what happened, but what Cheryl has said is infuriating and, frankly, ridiculous.”

"I'm not surprised she has got herself a Chelsea player, she's a big fan."

Alison told how Aimee adopted a party-mad lifestyle after dumping her boyfriend, a soldier who served in Iraq.

The couple lived together in a house for army personnel and had a young son Rhys before splitting.

Alison added: "After they split up she became a party animal. She was a neighbour from hell.

"Most of her friends are also WAG wannabes - she acts like she's Posh Spice. She's always wearing Gucci or Prada."

Ashley and Cheryl married in 2004 - two years after they met while both living in the apartment block where Ashley bedded Aimee, They couple were paid £1.5million by OK! magazine for the rights to cover their wedding.

Cheryl has often spoken in glowing terms of her relationship with Ashley.

She recently said: "We are really, really happy. We spend every minute together.
