Lady Gaga has revealed that her new song `Telephone` was originally written for pop princess Britney Spears, who had rejected the song.
The `Poker Face` hitmaker was a songwriter before she shot into the limelight with her 2008 debut album `The Fame` and had penned tracks for artists including the Pussycat Dolls, reported a news website.
Gaga has admitted that she had written `Telephone` for Spears, but when the `Toxic` hitmaker rejected the song, she recorded it herself and brought new pal R&B singer Beyonce Knowles on board to give it a superstar makeover.
“I wrote it for her a long time ago and she just didn`t use it for her album. It`s fine because I love the song and I get to perform it now,” said the 23-year-old singer.
The song is a part of `Fame Monster`, the re-launched version of her debut album.
Marisa Miller Takes On Role With More Clothes
Victoria’s Secret model Marisa Miller has accepted in a role that requires a few more clothes.
The 31-year-old Sports Illustrated star took on a guest part in American sitcom Gary Unmarried, playing a sales girl in a fashion boutique.
Miller’s character hits on Gary Brooks, played by Jay Mohr, almost as soon as he walks through the door.
But the divorced painting contractor turns the lingerie model down for a date with radio station manager Sasha, played by Brooke D’Orsay.
R&B star Rihanna is unfazed by rumors alleging she’s a closet bisexual after saucy photos surfaced online depicting the singer groping a female friend
The beauty famously dated fellow pop star Chris Brown for two years, before their relationship came crashing to an end when he beat her up in February.
She has repeatedly denied reports romantically linking her to rapper Drake and actor Tristan Wilds, declaring she was not yet ready to date.
But temporarily swearing off men has only reignited allegations she’s secretly harboring a love for women, which have been circulating the internet since images of Rihanna getting wild with pals surfaced online in January.
One picture showed Rihanna fondling the breasts of a gal pal - but the 21 year old has laughed off the saucy snap, insisting she’s just a big flirt who appreciates the female form.
She tells New York DJ Angie Martinez, “There are tons of them (photos of her grabbing boobs) online! I don’t have a lot so anytime I see a good rack (pair of breasts), I grab ‘em. Women are beautiful. I’m not into them, but they’re beautiful. Girls just wanna have fun!”
Jaime Pressly, the Emmy-winning star of My Name Is Earl (and of the soon-to-be-released romantic comedy I Love You, Man) shows of her amazing body and spills her secrets for getting sculpted in the new issue of Shape.
Jaime reveals that she allowed herself to eat whatever she wanted while she was pregnant. "I gained 42 pounds," the 5-foot-4-inch actress tells Shape. "That's a lot of weight for mama!" After her son was born, she set a specific goal: to get back in shape in time for her 30th birthday party. "I needed to get in the gym and run on the treadmill and lift weights," she says.
Barack Obama does not have Angelina Jolie's seal of approval.
"She hates him," a source close to the U.N. goodwill ambassador, 34, tells the new issue of Us Weekly (on newsstands now).
"She's into education and rehabilitation and thinks Obama is all about welfare and handouts. She thinks Obama is really a socialist in disguise," adds the source.
But don't expect to see the Salt actress rally against Democrats on Fox News like her staunch Republican father, Jon Voight.
"Angie isn't Republican, but she thinks Obama is all smoke and mirrors," the source says.
And those political views are putting her at odds with Brad Pitt, 45, who is a big fan of the president and even went solo to the 2008 election party in Chicago.
"They get in nasty arguments all the time about it," says the source. "She doesn't respect Brad when it comes to politics, but, in the end, this won't tear them apart."
Word on the block has it Britney Spears may get engaged again.
The lucky man is said to her manager, Jason Trawick, whom she's been dating since June this year.
However, reports are conflicting.
Australia's news.com.au. alleges Britney popped the question to Jason and he declined.
The plot thickens even more as an insider tells OK! magazine: "Britney said she does not have a doubt in her mind that she wants to spend the rest of her life with Jason.
"She has already discussed marriage with him, and they are both excited about a romantic wedding."
Well, that's music to our gossip-hungry ears.
However, we should add there's been no confirmation from Britney's people on any official engagement yet or any of the above.
