"Barbados-born sensation Rihanna is gracing the cover of the January 2008 issue of Allure magazine and opens up on being bullied for being white, her relationship with Beyonce, Josh Hartnett and her new haircut.

On being bullied at school for being too 'white': “I was a little confused as a kid because I grew up with my mum, and my mum is black. So I was cultured in a very ‘black’ way. But when I go to school, I’m getting called ‘white’. They would look at me and would curse me out. I didn’t understand. I just knew I saw people of all different shades and I was light. Now I’m in a much bigger world.”

On Relationship with Beyonce:“She’s Beyonce, and I’m (her) new protegee. When we see each other we say hi. We’re not enemies, but we’re not `friends’ friends.”

On dating Josh Harnett rumors:“This is what really happened. He and my management, they have each other’s contact information. I went to (the New York club) Pink Elephant, and he came by. All of a sudden, the next day, I’m seeing that we were kissing and hugging up each other. You can’t even go out with a friend who’s a celebrity and have a good time without people making (bleep) up. Well, at least he’s good-looking, right?”

On her “edgy” haircut:“The label didn’t want me to do this look. But cutting my hair, it made me stand out as an artist. I don’t care who likes it — this is me.”

Alec Baldwin will join Cameron Diaz, Dakota Fanning and Elle Fanning in "My Sister's Keeper," the Nick Cassavetes-directed adaptation of the Jodi Picoult novel for New Line. Mark Johnson is producing. Jeremy Leven wrote the script; production begins in February.

Baldwin will play the attorney who represents a child (Elle Fanning) after she sues her parents for emancipation on the grounds they bred her to be a genetic match who could prolong the life of her cancer-ridden sister (Dakota Fanning). The girl's mother (Diaz) is a former trial lawyer and represents herself in court.

While his NBC series "30 Rock" halted shooting because of the writers strike, Baldwin had a contractual right to schedule a movie anyway. He will also voice a character in "Madagascar 2."

Two women tried to revive Kanye West's mother after she had a heart attack and stopped breathing, according to emergency 911 recordings released Monday.

An unidentified woman tells a male emergency dispatcher during the call that Donda West recently had surgery. She says West just had a heart attack, has stopped breathing and moving, and is "cold and clammy," according to the call released by the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The woman says she and another unidentified woman are trying to administer CPR.

"Are you doing it?" the dispatcher asks. "... Does anybody know how? That's what I already asked you."

As the two women talk, the dispatcher appears to grow frustrated.

"Ma'am, let me tell you how to do this. You need to listen. You're not listening to what I'm telling you. You're not helping the person at all. ... Have the other people be quiet so I can tell you what to do."

The dispatcher then instructs the woman in CPR, telling her to clear West's mouth and administer breaths. The women attempt to resuscitate West, but she doesn't respond. Soon after, paramedics arrive, and the dispatcher hangs up.

West, 58, was rushed to a hospital where she was pronounced dead Nov. 10, the day after she underwent breast reduction, tummy tuck and liposuction procedures.

Rachael Ray has signed a new two-year deal with Food Network. Under the pact, she will host a new primetime series, "Rachael's Vacation."

She also will continue doing "30 Minute Meals," but will shoot 60 episodes a year, down from the current 80.

"Rachel's Vacation," which will premiere January 12, chronicles Ray's foreign sorties, during which she explores foods and lifestyles, visiting everything from street festivals to farmers' markets to shoe shops.

Ray, who got her start with "30 Minute Meals" in 2001, also landed a two-year renewal for her daytime syndicated talk show this year.

With the new deal at Food Network, Ray has emerged as the cable network's biggest star, following the network's recent cancellation of Emeril Lagasse's long-running series "Emeril Live." Lagasse remains under a development deal at the network and is hosting "The Essence of Emeril."
