It looks like Britney Spears wasn’t the first unstable celeb targeted as a potential cash cow by sleazy paparazzo Adnan Ghalib ; that honor goes to Angelina Jolie. That’s right. Before Britney, there was Angie. The married photographer, who has reportedly been slapped with an Order of Protection to keep him away from Britney, targeted the pop star as last resort after Oscar-winning Angie rebuffed his butt-kissing.

“Angelina was definitely one of his quests,” a pal of the photographer reveals to The National Enquirer. “He told me seriously: ‘She’s fond of me. She calls me Addy, and I’m the only photographer she’s nice to.’”

“It took five carefully planned months for his campaign to succeed, but look at Adnan now. The paparazzi are chasing HIM!”

John Travolta is coming to the aid of friend – and fellow Scientologist – Tom Cruise following last week's leaked video.

The much-discussed clip, still making the rounds on the Web, shows the Mission: Impossible megastar praising the Church of Scientology and saying that followers have "the ability to create new and better realities." (His rep says the footage was filmed for a private church event in 2004.)

Travolta, 53, claims the intense media scrutiny has gone too far. "[Tom] has – we all have – the right to practice how we feel," he told PEOPLE Saturday at Australia.com's G'Day L.A. gala celebrating Australia Week 2008. "It finally becomes unfair."

Travolta's tone lightened considerably, however, when asked about Olivia Newton-John, who was on hand to perform at the event (which honored Kylie Minogue for her humanitarian work). "We see each other a couple of times a year," he gushed of his Grease costar. "I love seeing her. She's awesome."

Later, the Aussie singer wowed the crowd with a selection of her greatest hits, including "Hopelessly Devoted to You," "I Honestly Love You" and a stripped-down version of "Physical."

After Newton-John's show-stopping set, Travolta declared from the stage: "Olivia, I love you. I honestly love you."

The Spice Girls have 'raunched' up their act after bleating out a string of sexy innuendo whilst celebrating Emma Bunton's 32nd birthday on stage.

Bunton was presented with a cake and candles as her boyfriend, Jade, watched on in the front row waving birthday banners at London's 02 Arena.

But it wasn't long before Mel B and Mel C started shouting filthy jokes, stunning parents and their children.

Scary Spice, Mel B, was the first, telling Bunton to 'give it a blow job' before Sporty Spice Mel C, turned on some lesbian innuendo telling her band mate it's 'making me wanna go down.'

Brown then replied by saying she'd done too much 'Tossing the Salad' of late, audience members claimed.

One onlooker said: 'We were shocked. We couldn't believe it because there were loads of kids in the audience and their own children watching on.'

'They seemingly like a little lesbian joke between friends' said the Metro source.

However, it the took the usually crass Geri Halliwell, 35, to clean up the conversation by dedicating 'Mamma' to Bunton saying: 'This one's dedicated to Emma...a great mum, a great woman and a great friend.'

While he'll never remember it, Jan. 20, 2008, was one of the more important days in the life of Christina Aguilera's newborn son. According to a report on Eonline.com, the soulful singer and her husband Jordan Bratman celebrated little Max Liron Bratman's bris over the weekend at their home in Beverly Hills.

For those unfamiliar with the event, a bris is a Hebrew baby naming and circumcision ceremony typically performed on the eighth day after the child is born. Max Liron, whose middle name means "my song" in Hebrew, was born on Jan. 12 in Los Angeles.

The first film inspired by C.S. Lewis' seven-part Chronicles of Narnia had much to offer beyond The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. There was the faun (James McAvoy's sweet Mr. Tumnus), the talking beavers and Santa, too.

But with a quartet of mostly unseasoned child actors as the Pevensie kids, the 2005 release was severely lacking in an elixir that fuels many fantasy epics: sex appeal.

But that was then. This is wow. Ben Barnes, 26, the British newcomer who plays the title role in Prince Caspian, has visitors to the film's Internet Movie Database message board virtually drooling.

The graduate of London's Kingston University can't believe he's playing the main character from one of his favorite childhood tales.

"It still hasn't sunk in," he says. "It's been a whirlwind."

One minute, Barnes was doing an audition tape in London. The next, he was in L.A., charming director Andrew Adamson. A couple of weeks later, he stood on Narnia's set in New Zealand.

Anna Popplewell, who co-stars as Susan, says Barnes might need to invest in bodyguards soon.

"He's very gorgeous," says the actress, 19.

Another factor worked in his favor: He's a good fibber.

"I didn't lie," Barnes insists. "I just exaggerated the truth. They said, 'Can you ride a horse?' I said, 'Yes.' I did not say I understood the intricacies of genuine horsemanship."

He took a crash course, along with sword-fighting lessons. By the end, "I was able to swim horses through rivers and slalom through pillars. It was good fun."

But if the filmmakers had asked if he had ever been in a boy band, Barnes could have honestly replied in the affirmative. His performance as a would-be Justin Timberlake in a pop group called Hyrise can be found on a YouTube video.

"My pop career lasted for all of 4½ minutes," says Barnes. As for teasing on set, "They were dancing to it, no matter what they say."

He won't have to sing for his supper any time soon. He just begun work on Easy Virtue, a romantic comedy with Jessica Biel.

His Narnia adventures continue aboard a ship in 2010's The Dawn Treader.

He knows naught about nautical matters. "If they ask, I'll answer with a big, fat no. I have the job."

Scarlett Johansson has been in a five days tour in the Persian Gulf to entertain the US forces, as a part of the United Service Organizations’s Army Welfare Recreation tour. She has been visiting military installations, signing autographs and taking photos with the troops, who surely after months of service have been very excited.

Johansson has been criticizing George W Bush’s politics and certainly the war, but she did her part and its definitely a good thing. Hollywood stars should take their entertainment job a bit more far, taking Scarlett as the perfect example.

For those who don’t know her very well, she is the hot and talented (perfectly balanced) star of the moment. Her filmography, among many others, contains movies like “Lost in translation”, “Match Point”, “The Island” and “The Black Dahlia”.

Celebrity hijackers Mathew Horne and James Corden have awarded the housemates a luxury hamper after the contestants joined in a group hug.

The Big Brother's Big Mouth presenters had embarked on a "hijack of love" after particularly harsh impressions of the nine remaining housemates were broadcast to the house.

The duo decided to create enough love among the contestants on the E4 reality show to convince them to hug, with the mouthwatering hamper as a reward.

Circus performer Emilia Arata was given a massage by Gavin and Stacey star Mat, before R 'n' B singer Nathan Fagan-Gale was invited to join Mat and James in a rendition of The Thong Song.

The most sceptical housemates, conceptual artist Amy Jackson and racing driver Jeremy Metcalfe, were invited into the 'love room' as a pair, with Mat going for the direct route with Amy and telling her: "You're pretty much perfect."

When Amy and classical musician Calista Robertson realised the hijackers' continual efforts to butter them up could be part of a task, they convinced the rest of the house to join in a group hug, with the luxury food the eagerly-received reward.

"They're so nice!" cried Emilia as she opened the box. "Biscuits and luxury cheese!"

"Belgian chocolate!" squealed professional dancer Latoya Satnarine, before young politician John Loughton shouted "Oh yeah!" after finding fillet steak and chips.

Emilia later professed that she was worried about how her friendship with Jeremy could be perceived by viewers.

"I'm scared they've made a romance out of me and Jeremy. I miss my boyfriend a lot," she told Amy
