Ashlee dyed her hair to distance herself from Jessica

Ashlee Simpson has opted for darker tresses in an effort to distance herself from her controversial big sis, Jessica, an OK! Magazine report claims. The twenty-three year old singer debuted her new auburn hair color late last week and she’s hoping that it will maked everyone forget that Jess is her sister. “She thinks everything Jessica touches is bad luck. She actually said, ‘I want to avoid the Jessica jinx. She refuses to risk being called a poor man’s version of Jessica. She’s doing what’s best for her career, and she knows that the public has turned it’s back on her sister.”
