I'm no ditzy moron, says Mariah Carey, I'm Mary Poppins!

She's known as a ditzy diva, but Mariah Carey says she considers herself more of a "freakin' prude."

"It's a dichotomy, I understand," the 37-year-old bombshell singer tells Allure magazine. "I understand that people think I'm a ditzy moron."

For ditzy, she's doing well since she notes: "I have three personal assistants just to keep up with my schedule."

The hip-hop and R&B superstar's newest single "Touch My Body" - the lead track on her latest album, "E=MC2" - is poised to be her 18th No. 1 single, tying with the Beatles for having the most chart-toppers.

Carey, the best-selling female singer of all time, showed off her new hit and slimmed-down figure on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" this weekend, sporting stilettos and a micro-miniskirt.

The once-married superstar, who has been romantically linked to Yankees captain Derek Jeter and rapper Eminem, said fans would be mistaken if they think she has loose morals. She insists she's never had a one-night stand.

"I'm Mary Poppins: I'm what the buttoned-up girls are supposed to be," Carey told Allure.
