Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes flew 230 miles - just to have lunch, it has been claimed.
The Top Gun star whisked wife Katie and daughter Suri, one, off in a helicopter to eat at an Italian hotel because he loves the food there.
A source said: “They took a helicopter ride from Milan.”
The family ate Italian and German foods at the Rosa Alpina Hotel & Spa in Badia on December 1, it was reported.
Hotel spokeswoman told a US magazine: “They were a pleasure. They make a cute couple and Suri was so playful.”
It comes amid reports that Cruise, 45, wants wife Katie, 28, to change her name to Katie Cruise.
The couple have reportedly argued over the issue several times as the actress refuses to the actor’s last name
