Brad Renfro has son

In his 25 short years, Brad Renfro made more than a dozen films — and had a son. TMZ reports that the young actor, who died on Jan. 18, has a son who lives in Japan.

Not much is known about the child or his mother — but Renfro's father, Mark, and stepmother, Kim, said that they were aware of the child and confirmed that Brad met his son before he died.

Many of Renfro's close friends, however, were not aware of his son.
